This website is operated by Orchid & Glow. We sell candles, reed diffusers, artificial plants and related home fragrance and décor products.

2. These terms

These Terms of Service apply when you use our website or place an order with us. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

3. Products

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Colours, packaging, dimensions and finishes may vary slightly from images shown, particularly because screens display colours differently and some products contain natural or handmade elements.

4. Orders and contract formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy the products in your basket. After you order, we will send an acknowledgement. A contract is formed only when we send confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if a product is unavailable, information or pricing is incorrect, payment is not authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we have taken payment for an order we cannot accept, we will refund it.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any delivery charge will be displayed before you complete checkout. You must pay in full using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

If a price is clearly incorrect, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected order and refund any payment made.

6. Delivery

Delivery destinations, charges and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Refund Policy. For many distance contracts, consumers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, subject to applicable exceptions. The Refund Policy also contains a downloadable model cancellation form.

Nothing in our policies affects your remedies where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal standards.

8. Candle and diffuser safety

You must follow all safety and care instructions supplied with candles and diffusers. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from children, pets and flammable materials, and place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep diffuser liquid away from children, pets, flames and polished or painted surfaces, and clean spills promptly.

9. Website use

You must not misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

10. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including our branding, text, photographs and graphics, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may use it only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes unless we give written permission.

11. Third-party services and links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform used to operate this store.

12. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and shared when you use this website or place an order.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order. Material changes will be posted on this website.

15. Governing law

These terms and any contract between you and us are governed by the laws of Guernsey. The courts of Guernsey will have jurisdiction, without preventing a consumer from relying on any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available under applicable law.
